D&C 100: 4-5 "Therefore, I, the Lord, have suffered you to come unto this place; for thus it was expedient in me for the salvation of souls. Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men;"

Well, here is your weekly update on life for your favorite missionary in Stara Zagora!! Let's start with some questions...  We are DYING to hear all about Elder Worley. Tell us everything. Where is he from? How long has he been out? What areas has he been in? Are you getting along great?
- Elder Worley is such a stud. He is from West Jordan, and he's been out a little over a year. He has served in Ruce, Burgas, and Sofia for a long time. He is way into photography!!! We have long chats about that and how much I miss it. He loves cars, and computers. We are very very similar. We get along just great!! I'm excited to work with him!
Who is the new sister serving in Stara Zagora?
Her name is Sister Shumway. I haven't got to know her quite as well.
Who are the darling children in your last pics? We can't figure that out.
They are Vili, Petko, and Anes. Vili's brothers and her.
Are you still writing in your journal every day?
Yes yes, don't worry, I will have a novel at the end.
How much time do you have to read scriptures these days? What are you studying right now?
Every morning we study personally for an hour. President has issued a challenge to finish the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. That is what I'm concentrating on.
How is the work going on the branch building going? Where is it? How many people meet in it each week?
Gross. The building's roof collapsed because there was a problem with the air conditioning unit. We got that fixed and cleaned up, but there is SO. MUCH. CRAP. to sort through. But it's a work in progress. Usually have about 20 people ish including the missionaries.
How is the space on your sd cards going? Need more? Are they safe?
I move everything off my SD cards onto my flash drive every week. Lots and lots of room.
Coat???????????????????????? Any snow yet?
I purchased a sweatshirt/sweats combo that looks really really cool. It cost about $50 for the pair. No snow yet, and I'm starting to browse around for coats. The sweatshirt worried me at first, because the zipper is on the woman's side in america. But I searched the sweatshirt many times and found the word ?????? which means Men. So relief was found there. :)
Plans today? What you been doing for fun?
Probably going to the mall, might look for a coat. Eating some KFC, then watching a movie at the church.
How is the clothes situation going? Anything wearing out (besides the stuff I know about?)? Enough shirts? Ties? Socks?
Hahaha socks are starting to get hurt. But nothing bad. Everything else is just fine.
How much have you been walking every day? We have seen a couple of bus pics. Are you riding those a bunch?
No, we walk everywhere. The buses are only just if we need to go to a different city. Which we do a lot.
We haven't heard a spiritual thought from you in a while. What are you feeling being so immersed in the gospel? What is it that you share with others about your testimony?
It is really hard to be constantly immersed. I love it, but being around the gospel so much makes you want others to know about it too, and the people here do not want to hear it. Most of what I talk to people about  is the Book of Mormon. You can try to criticize anything that the church has done, is doing, will do, doctrine differences, prophets, blah blah blah, but you have to do it faced with the Book of Mormon. I love Jeffrey R. Holland's talk about the Book of Mormon, and that helps to strengthen my testimony. I love the Book of Mormon with all my heart, and I know it's true.
Favorite scripture lately?
Well, about baptism.... 3 Ne 3:7-8   7 Or in other words, yield yourselves up unto us, and unite with us and become acquainted with our a secret works, and become our brethren that ye may be like unto us—not our slaves, but our brethren and partners of all our substance. 8 And behold, I swear unto you, if ye will do this, with an oath, ye shall not be destroyed; but if ye will not do this, I swear unto you with an oath, that on the morrow month I will command that my armies shall come down against you, and they shall not stay their hand and shall spare not, but shall slay you, and shall let fall the sword upon you even until ye shall become extinct.   Hehe.... And on a more serious note, D&C 100:2-5   2 Therefore, follow me, and listen to the counsel which I shall give unto you. 3 Behold, and lo, I have much people in this place, in the regions round about; and an effectual door shall be opened in the regions round about in this eastern land. 4 Therefore, I, the Lord, have suffered you to come unto this place; for thus it was expedient in me for the salvation of souls. 5 Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put  into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men;
Favorite hymn in Bulgarian????? ?????? ???
-Така Удивен Съм ~ I Stand All Amazed.
A little something in Bulgarian to translate??? Do NOT skip over this this week! ;)
You have NO IDEA how hard it is to type on a Bulgarian keyboard, but I love you. Soo.......
Аз обичам евангелието на Исус Христос със цял моето сърце. Обичам да уча хората тук в България да живеят по-чисти, и да имат надежда и мир в техните животи. Обичам Господа много, и аз знам че той ми обича също.
Translation:I love the gospel of Jesus Christ with all my heart. I love teaching people here in Bulgaria to live clean, and have hope and peace in their lives. I love the Lord very much, and I know that he loves me also.
Did you read my request about an ornament from Bulgaria? Have you learned anything about the way Christmas is celebrated? Do they have a special ornament I can have you ship to me to hang this year?
- I did get the request, but I don't have any idea if Christmas is celebrated the same way here. I'll start asking some people and I'll get back to you. I think that is a great idea.   SOO, Life is good here in Eastern Europe. It has been really rainy especially today. I got woken up to the MOST INTENSE lightning and rain storm I have ever seen in my life today at like 5am. The windows in my apartment are slanted and the rain beats upon it so loud. The lightning and thunder were so loud, and about 1 second apart. I thought my building would collapse.   Elder Worley is doing great, and I already love being with him! I'll send a picture later today. I can't send pictures right now, but I have them with me, and I will make sure to send a couple of things.   How is everyone!! Congrats on the house, that is awesome, and that sucks about your virus. And the gluten-intolerance?? I had BETTER NOT inherit that from you.. :)   How are the girls doing? I miss them a ton! Ally: Congrats on the job at Banana! You will be incredible! Jess: A Cupkake? Fo' Reals? :) Haha you will be delicious. Kakes: A nerd? Wow! You didn't have to work really hard for that one! ;) Haha just kidding. Dad: Stop working so hard! First weekend off in 16 weeks!? That's crazy! Thanks for your email. It's nice to be reminded from the states sometimes. Mom: I'm sorry about the gluten free crap. I hope you can incorporate that into your wonderful cooking that I miss so much.   I love you all so much! If you're still on, email me back! If not, I'll get some pictures this evening.   -- ?????????? ?????  We are all fine. Busy busy. You probably WILL inherit that gluten thing from me. Missy has it too. Something to think about! What is your mall like? Is it anything like ours? It's smaller, but it has a McDonald's and a KFC so we like to taste some american food every once in a while. Quite a bit smaller than in America.
Did you get the pics then? Are they hard to download from there?  I WISH I could send short little videos. We have some doozies!Oh yeah, I can see some videos. We have a computer in the church now, so I can get those. :) The pics were great, it sounds like you had a great time! And the language is coming better and better. Now that I'm not a greenie, I am being forced to speak a lot more, so it gets better. You didn't get a video of me this week did you? I met the parents of a missionary that was going home, named elder larson, and he lives in orem. His parents came to pick him up and they took a video of me playing the piano and said that they would send it. Also, I got to see Matt Maddix when I went to sofia for passport work. Very funny.Does the McDonalds and KFC taste the same? Please don't forget to get back on and send pics later today! I will wait to post the blog til they come. Why can't you now? What's happening? How far away do you live from the other missionaries there?Haha it's just fine. And McDonald's and KFC taste almost the same. A little more "European." I won't forget. I just am at the internet zala and it is ridiculously hard to send pictures from here. I will wait till the church. I have like 2 lessons set for tonight so I wll be able to get on. No video from there! Would LOVE IT!!!! Who is this that came? I can find them through email. I will let them get home first!   Happy to hear about Matt Maddix. His mom will be happy. How was he? Did you remember him right away? Did he look good and happy? (So I can report to his mom)
Haha he looked great, but was very very tired just like I was. But the parents I have no idea. Just last name larson. Or larsen. In bulgarian it is the same.   I will send a couple of little tiny videos for you. I'll be sparingly careful in what I send so as not to take up too much downloading time. They will hopefully make you smile to hear familiar voices and see faces that love you. Did you get my last email last week about telling Elder Barber that I love him and thank you?
Yeah I did. He is in Shumen now with another Greenie. I think its hard because it's a new city. But he's doing ok. Have you heard about having to leave the country for your visa yet? Do you know where you would go or for how long?
I shouldn't have to at all. . .I get my Permanent Resident card in like a week and then I just have to renew that in a year.
Holy cow? Shumen is another new city? That's amazing! Do you know how many missionaries are in Bulgaria right now? Has it grown?
Ummm it is growing a lot. There are 4 new cities open this transfer. Like 5 missionaries went home this transfer, and we got 7.Oh wow. That is different about the permanent resident card than I had heard. I thought you would have to leave. How are the Wilsteads liking Bulgaria?  Any more trouble with the locals? Anyone interested? Or even kind?Haha yeah. The Wilsteads love it! Sister Wilstead is compiling a cookbook and I'm debating which one I want to send in. Also, Elder Worley let it slip that he likes soup. I don't know how to make soup.Could you e-mail me a nice receipe for soup? No more local trouble yet, and lots of people are very kind. Just lots not interested. How does it work going home? Not that we are thinking of that of course. Just wondering. Is it done all together or on an individual basis as per your start date? How did picking up their son work??? How long were they staying? Were they traveling anywhere else? Your entire MTC group goes home at the same time. This transfer is a little shorter, because they realized that the people that would be here would be missing three Christmas's so they are cutting it off a week early. They came and toured all of Bulgaria for like 5 days.  I'll send you the potato soup and a chicken noodle. That one is just in my head so I'll do the best I can. And taco soup? What DO you cook and eat over there? Anything you can't get? How is the fruit?OH MY GOSH. The fruit is so good. And they juice everything. This morning I had a tall glass of Pineapple juice. Way awesome. I cook a lot of pasta..and...yeah. I don't cook a ton. I eat a lot of bread and tomato paste.Wow! Just the parents came? I'm still hoping that we will get the chance to do that when the time comes. Would you like that? It's up to you. I'll have to find out more about it when it getsm closer, because it is technically discouraged, but I don't know. I'll ask president.  I know it is "discouraged", but people do it all the time. My grand plan would be to come there and spend a few days touring and then my dream would be to go to Spain on our way home and visit our family. That would be very fun. And yeah so what up with the gluten. Is that basically wheat? Or what do I avoid? Yeah I gave it to them.   Sadly gluten is in everything with wheat or flour, and some ither things. You don't have to go gluten free. BUt be watchful that you are getting  plenty of "raw" and natural foods like fruits, vegetables and proteins and LIMITING the amount of wheat you are having. It can cause a whole slough of problems. The virus has been super fun! I am starting to feel better but still sooo tired. The doctor prescribed a trip to Maui to recover. Somehow dad didn't quite go for that? I'm so sorry that sucks so bad. Yeah I'll start to be more careful...after my mission. We eat bread here. And lot's of it.   I take it that they don't celebrate Halloween there? And most likely not Thanksgiving? yes halloween no thanksgiving.  Shut up! Halloween???? Do they dress up like here? Is it the same date???Yeah I think the young people dress up. And yeah same date. I will be a Mormon for Halloween. :) Love you!!!
I AM PRAYING that they packages I sent the other day make it. I will have some specific instructions about the Christmas box I sent! hehehehehehehe!~Okayyyyyyyy??? Thanks for doing that! Gotta go. Love you so much! I'll send those pics later today!   I love you MORE! Thanks for all the info! That was so nice!

Hey so here is Elder Worley, Him and I, Elder Barber and I on our trip
to drop him off, and the mission home. Love you!

"One of our favorite members, Maria, who was baptized earlier this year made us the most delicious meal ever. Started with a delicious shopska, then stuffed peppers, moosika, and banitsa. It was DELICIOUS. She literally had been cooking for hours."

Hey! SO big week this week. I'll start off with your questions.

Were you transferred?
 - Transfers occur tomorrow, so "Yes"
Where are you?
 - I'm still in Stara Zagora, and Elder Barber is going to Shumen.
Who is your companion now?
 - Elder Barber, but then tomorrow I meet Elder Worley who is my new companion.
How is the weather? Cold yet? COAT???
 - Haha yeah it's getting cold. I'm getting some stuff probably later today don't pee yourself. :)
Any more trouble with the hostiles? ;)
 - Not yet..... :)
How's money? You doing ok?
 - Yup! Money's okay.
Anything exciting that you can share with us and all of your followers?
 - Well, November 29th is Elder Barber's Birthday, and I won't be seeing him before then. So I decided to pretend like today was his birthday, and I got him a mini dictionary, and a chess set to take to Shumen. Pics to follow!
What are you doing today?
 - We might be playing some volleyball, which I'm excited for. AFter I get a coat of course.... :)
How have you been feeling? I was worried about you being sick last week. Any more fevers? Did you see a doctor?
 - No doctor, and I've been doing better. Nothing really to worry about for now. I haven't been sleeping wonderfully though.
When is next zone conference? Where?
 - No idea, Plovdiv.
How are the Wilsteads? How are the new rules going?
 - They're great! The rules aren't any big deal.
How is life without diet coke? I wouldn't know... ;)
  - Hatred and jealousy....
I talked to Trevor again. I will send him your information. Message you want me to give?
 - I love him so much, and I hope that he is doing great in Guatemala!
Any investigators?
 - Haha please. No.
Pictures???
-Of course! I have a lot today...

So anyway, this week we have been moving into our new building. It is very close to the other one, but it looks more like a church. It still has problems though. The roof caved in due to a leak in the air conditioning system, and the building is so crazy dirty. But progress is coming. We are doing a lot of contacting which is getting harder due to the new and colder weather. People just don't seem like they want to stop, and really, I can't blame them.

One of our favorite members Maria who was baptized earlier this year made us the most delicious meal ever. Started with a delicious shopska, then stuffed peppers, moosika, and banitsa. It was DELICIOUS. She literally had been cooking for hours.

Transfers are happening tomorrow. I travel to Plovdiv to pick up Elder Worley and drop off Elder Barber. I will miss him SO MUCH!!!!

Life is going great right now, and I love you all.

Tell me about Ally's toy! Is it new? How much was it?

It looks like you're sleeping now, so I will talk to you all later. But I love you so much!

Lots of pictures to come...

Awesome! I'm still awake. I'm glad to catch ya! So, how long will you be staying in Stara Zagora? Do you know anything about Elder Worley? Is he one of the brand new ones from the MTC? Have they come yet?
Haha no they don't put new ones with new ones. I still can't speak the language. I will be in Stars until I find out about next transfer a couple days before christmas. They newbys come on Wednesday.!! So excited!

I haven't met Elder Worley yet, I'll tell you more next week. We are heading out right now, so I will get you a couple more pics then I have to go. Love you!!

The pics are coming in! I love them!!! That meal looks delicious! IS that the first time someone has fed you?

Yeah first time fed. Everyone else is still in starz except sister campbell is in Ruse.

Tell Elder Barber that I love him for being your friend and brother! And we will continue to pray for him in his mission! Have a wonderful week. Be safe. I'll see you soon. Love you.

Zone Conference Pics from Mission Presidency

Dear Parents,
Recently Zone Conference was held in Sofia.  We thought you might enjoy these pictures of your missionary.
Thank you for your loving support and prayers for your missionary and the Bulgaria Sofia Mission.

The entire zone

These six are serving in Stara Zagora together.

Elder Forshee and Elder Barber

"I listened to all of conference in bed those days. Some really helpful stuff! I loved President Uchtdorf's talk about airplanes." :)

Sorry it's a little later today, we had some stuff to do this morning.

It has been an interesting week. Tuesday was our p-day, and we travelled into Plovdiv for zone conference, where we got to see the Wilsteads again, and then wednesday was zone conference. I learned a lot of stuff, and President Wilstead put the whip down on a lot of new rules. But they are all going to make the mission a better place. Nikola, my baptismal date dropped out, and we haven't heard from him at all. He is moving to Burgas, and will not be seeing us again. It had something to do with his wife and him not wanting to give up some of his issues after all. So that sucked. Then Thursday I came down with a fever, but worked through it all day long. Then Friday it got worse, so we stayed in. Saturday same thing. I listened to all of conference in bed those days. Some really helpful stuff! I loved President Uchtdorf's talk about airplanes. :) We have no investigators anymore, so it is a lot of street contacting. We haven't hit transfers yet, but they will let me know where I will be going and who I will be with this Saturday. I hope that I am with Elder Barber down in Haskovo, that would be amazing. If I don't get to be with Elder Barber, I will miss him terribly. I will probably be going to Sofia this Monday for continued passport work. I don't know though, that would just be a guess. We are going to the mall in just a couple of minutes, because I don't have really anything to keep me warm. I am just going to buy a sweatshirt/sweater, and still browse around for winter coats. Then we will watch a movie at the church, then go to a member's house for her birthday, then have steaks (which are marinating at my apartment right now, yumm) with an investigatorish. It will be a full day, and I have some pictures to send you. I unfortunately cannot right now, but they will be to you in the next couple of hours. I love and miss everyone! I'm happy that your trip to Las Vegas was fun, I am incredibly jealous. There is not really anything I like better than that. :) Congrats to Ally on the job at Banana Republic! They will be lucky to have you! Sorry to dad and the stupid airlines for losing your keyboard. :( That really sucks. I wish I could've been there in the airport for you. And for me. . . :)

Oh yeah, and I have made a major decision about my life. Very prayerfully, and with much thought, and I feel very good about it. I decided to pursue being a pilot. It is something that is very acheivable as a career, and I am well aware of the obsticles that I will face. But reading through my patriarchal blessing, listening to conference, and with a lot of personal prayer, I feel that this is the right path for me. And if the Lord has something different for me in life, He will jump in. Until he does, I am going to be a pilot! I have some decisions to make regarding my schooling, and if I would like to switch to UVU or to continue and finish a degree at BYU then go to a seperate school. If you could maybe look at some different options about stuff like that, that would be fun. And it's not like we have to decide right now. I have 20 months left. :)

I love you all, and can't wait to get some of these pictures off to you.

Nick
As far as your being a pilot, we of course want you to succeed in your dreams and will do anything we can to help those come along. You need to let me know what that is for now. I will start researching for you, my love.
I'm glad to hear that. No more teenage punks for now. I'm very excited to see where I will go as well!! Did the phone thing work? And yes I saw the fees. It was stupid because I drew a little bit of money, then checked like 2 days later and there was no fee. So I was like yay! Then I did some more money, and there were two fees. :( Oh well, it is only 25 cents to use it at a vendor, so that is what I will do. Is everyone doing good? I'm happy to see about the lot!
The phone thing worked perfectly as planned. Woke us both up out of a dead sleep!!! That is exciting. I had been sitting there hitting the refresh button every 5 seconds. That got super old.
I have more pics for you.
I'm so sorry!!! Tell Dad I'm so sorry I'm sure he's tired. I love him and go back to sleep!
Sorry if my first email was a little loopy, I accidentally took my pill when I was getting ready for bed and I NEVER do that on Sunday nights! Hopefully it made some sense... ;)
Hahaha and towards the end of your letter I could have guessed ON MY OWN that you were on Ambien!!! :) : ) :)
Did Pres Wilstead give you any indication IF you would be leaving there at all his transfer?? Or going to Hoskovo? He doesn't give any hints like that.. usually. But he did drop quite the Hint to Elder Barber that he will probably be in Haskovo. Whether or not I am with him, I don't know. But I will find out this Saturday.
I hope you aren't disappointed if you aren't there this time. Remember that the lord may need you somewhere else for now.
I'm sorry about nikola. That must suck.
What are the rules wilstead cracked down on?
Well, before it was a I'm not going to stop you if you like to drink coke kind of a thing. But now it is absolutely no caffeine at all. And no district lunches. And different things on how to run our schedule. But it is all for the best I suppose. But no more delicious coke light. :(

My P-Day activities all just came to a sudden halt too. We just got a call that the new building for the Stara Zagora Branch is ready and I now get to move all day long. So my shopping will just have to wait.

You HAVE to have a coat. Don't make me bring you one. You know I will. Haha I will don't worry. It is jumping up to 80+ degrees out here this week. It will just be a little longer. I do have to run to the church to get moving however. I love you so much and I'll email those pictures when I have some time today! :)

We met a couple of missionaries at orange leaf the othe day. I ran right to them and plastered then with questions. I told them about you. Dad told them you had been punched. One of them said , "LUCKY!!"
We bought their yogurt and they were super grateful and left. I am hoping one day someone will buy your yogurt. :)
That's awesome. Love you so much!

"Elder Barber and I got a call from President Wilstead to go down to Haskovo to find an apartment. It is a city in my zone that will be opened for missionary work this transfer. We went down, and I got to play adult for a little while! I hired a real estate agent and everything!'

I'm on a little early today, so if you're on, let me know!

(answering his very excited but very impatient mommy:)
Yeah i'm here, wait just a sec for the big email..... :)
Hello everybody!!

I have some news for this week, so I'll get to that, but let me start with your questons. And yes, I have some pictures for you. :)

What were you doing in Sofia last week?  You mentioned you will be going there another couple of times.  What is going on with that? Do you know the dates of your travel?
 - Sofia is where we go for passport work. I am getting my лична карта which is basically my permanent resident card. It takes the place of my visa. I have no idea when I will be traveling.
Has your Pday changed permanently or is it just being switched occasionally? If you could givce me as much notice as possible, that would save me from staying uptil 3 am for nothing when possible. However, I never mind waiting up if I have a chance to talk to ya...
 - No, Zone conference is today, so I will be traveling to Plovdiv. Only when there is a zone conference will the p-day change.
Did you have zone conference yet?  Any mission updates? Transfers?
 - Zone conference is today, and I'll let you know something in just a little bit...
Did you find a chance to buy that coat? I am just gonna keep naggin at ya until you do... what else do you need to buy? Gloves (since you sent them home stinker)? Scarf?
 - I haven't gone shopping at all for winter stuff. It got really hot again, so there has been no need. Yet. Dun dun dunnnnnn..... :)
Has it turned cold yet? We are starting to see big changes here this week...
 - It got a little colder (like maybe upper 50's) but then it got hot again.
Any new prospects?
 - I don't know what that means?
How is the language coming? Can you believe you have been there since Aug 21??? Has the time gone by fast?
 - Time is going by a lot quicker than in the MTC, but yeah my greenie transfer is almost over!
By chance, can you tell me what zone your dvd player plays there? The research I have done is that different pasrts of the world plays different zones of dvds. It should say somewhere on it or a dvd that you watch?
 - I think my dvd player can play either NTSF or PAL, so either should be fine.
Pics of shoes?
 - ooopppsss.....sorry. I might sneak on sometime up after this week to get them to you.....

Okay, for this week. Elder Barber and I got a call from President Wilstead to go down to Haskovo to find an apartment. It is a city in my zone that will be opened for missionary work this transfer. We went down, and I got to play adult for a little while! I hired a real estate agent and everything! We actually ended up finding an apartment in a day of work, so we have a feeling that Elder Barber and I will be going down there to open a new city! We don't know that for sure, but it would be very cool! It is an incredible city, and the work would go very well there.

So sorry about the lack of information of my "assault" last week. I had like NO time in Sofia. Two very happy young men happened to come up to me and one of them punched me pretty hard in the chest, and the other threw himself kind of on me so I stumbled to the ground. Then they left and went for Elder Barber. They shoved him a little bit, and then left. It wasn't too big of a deal, we get little stuff like that all the time. There isn't any reason to worry, I'm fine. :)

Ummm, yeah so zone conference is today. There was one yesterday for another zone, so I got a little bit of insight for some new rules. :(
Sorry to everyone that I just said that was okay, but President Wilstead just told everybody that they are allowed to send an email to their Parents only. Not even siblings. I can't email anybody family or not. I can have you forward everything to everyone, but not a ton of leaniencey?? Also, they are banning Coke from the mission. They left it up to us this last transfer, and so I have been enjoying some Coke light, but it will be no more. President Wilstead is cracking down on a lot of things.

I miss everyone so much, and yes don't worry, I was watching conference live when they made the announcement. That's crazy! I can say that I was one of the last people to go when you still had to be 19!

As for the Bulgarian:

Днес, ще отида в Пловдив защото има конференция. ще се видим със моите приятели от MTC. Обичам евангелието на Исус Христос, и обичам да проповядвам тази работа. Мисията е най-доброто място за научаване словото на бог. Обичам тази работа, и имам свидетелство че всичко това е истинна.
Translation: Today, we go in Plovdiv as a conference. I'll see with my friends from the MTC. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and love to teach this work. The mission is the best place to learn the word of God. I love this job, and I have evidence that this is true.

Love you all, and pictures to come!!

So i'm not sure if it is for sure that I'm going to Haskovo, just a rumour. Tell trev and tay that I miss them so much and best of luck. Yeah president knows about my assault.

It's great here! Yep still happy! I miss the girls so much and I hope that they are doing well. Tell them that their big brother prays for each of them. Haskovo is for sure being opened, but i'm just not sure if by me or not. No girls were hurt. They kind of leave the sister missionaries alone which is good.

Will you be emailing this early in the future??  I likey! :)
Hahaha no i won't. We are just traveling today that's why. And I actually have to go after I send this last picture one. Have you been getting them??
That cute girl is Vili. She is a 3 year old monster. :)

apartment stuff

This is the sunset that we woke up to this morning. We slept on top of the church building because it is our last week before we get a new one.

Our little sleepover. Made our own stuffing beds.

Love you all!!!

"So! This week was interesting. I didn't actually do too much, but we have been having Момчета problems. They are the teenage punks that like to steal our crap. So this Saturday, I got punched!!!! :) And tackled to the ground."

Hey everybody! Sorry that I didn't get a chance to write this morning. Things have been crazy. I'm actually in Sofia right now, we got called in to get our Лична Карта's which are basically like the permant resident cards. I will be traveling unexpectedly to Sofia 2 more times in the next little while. Let's start in with some questions, then I have some juicy news....

How is the weather? Still raining? Did we get an umbrella?  Did you end up getting a coat last week?
 - Weather has heated up again, and no more rain. And no umbrella either. I'm going to wait to get a coat for a little while, but a nice good one should cost like 200 lev, aka 120ish dollars. I'll let you know when I will buy one. Oh, and check WellsFargo.com...... :)
Did you remember to take a picture of your shoes to get the process started with Missionary Mall?
 - I did, but with the rush of going to Sofia, I didn't know if I could send pictures, or even if I would be able to write. So...I will get them to you as soon as you can.
Have you received a dear elder from Mom? Any letters from anyone else? Package from mom?
 - I checked my mailbox, and the DearElders from Mom, and Missy are here. Also the 2nd letter from Grama Cindy. Packages from Mom actually got here today in the mail, and the package from Grama Candy. Very cute pumpkin. :)
Have you gotten your hair cut since being there? How does that work? No Man Sheeps allowed in the field!
 - Hahahahahaha no. I was going to get it today, but we went to Sofia. You would not be proud.....
How is Nikola progressing?  We are anxious for any news about him and his family.  Have we set a date?  How’s it looking?
 - Hmmm well we pushed his date back, but It's not looking great. He doesn't like to read, and he's got some other problems.... I'll keep you updated.
Any news of the date and location of zone conference?
 - Zone conference will be the 10th of this month in Plovdiv.

So! This week was interesting. I didn't actually do too much, but we have been having Момчета problems. They are the teenage punks that like to steal our crap. So this Saturday, I got punched!!!! :) And tackled to the ground. Haha I don't tell you this to have you freak out, just a little bit of spicy in bland old Bulgaria. All of our other investigators have dropped us, and we are really just starting anew. Lots of contacting every day. We have a little joke here. We found a great scriptures(s) about baptism. Look up 3 Ne. 3: 7-8. And think about baptism the whole time. I'm still having fun here. There is a lot to do here in Sofia, but I got to see all of my MTC buddies again! That made me so happy. I'm not sure if you're up, and I don't have any pictures this week, so I will send this and see! I love you all, and talk to you soon!

Oh yeah, my P-Day next week is on TUESDAY and I will be traveling all day as well. So look for my emails then, and it might be delayed like today. I'll make sure to do a ton of picture taking of my apartment. :)
Hey, tell Missy she can email me. And tell grandma thank you for the letter and the pictures. They're awesome. :)
